Youtube app is freezing up the console. Only a hard boot has any effect.

Well, the app still sucks. And it seems that Google just don't give a damn about the app...

So I guess we are stuck with the constant reboot to try fixing it.

If you remove the Hard Drive and boot up the console, does it still freeze?

If you say the audio delay happens on the Home Screen as well:

My Xbox One X sometimes has temporary delays if it's installing a downloaded game, as long as it's working on the hard drive. After that, the lag and delay is gone.

So can you restart your console by holding the power button on the console for about 10 seconds and then restarting the console. Make sure the console shows a green startup screen with the Xbox One logo during the boot sequence, and after the restart, that
it doesn't have any downloads in the queue.

If the delays are gone in the Home Screen but not the YouTube App, you might have to contact the YouTube support, as they are responsible for what their app is doing. Microsoft only provides the marketplace to download the app, but has nothing to do with
how the app works.

Also: Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview program?

If you are using Non-official Hardware such as a third-party hard drive installed inside or on the top could definitely result in Issues occurring with your Machine. Using Non-official Hardware can cause malfunctions of both the hard drive and the console
itself. Using Non-official products and hardware with your Xbox 360 is not recommended. Always go Official !

Has the Hard Drive been removed from the console when you try and boot the machine up and then freezes?

If not can you please remove the hard drive and attempt to boot up the console.

If it has already been removed, or if it still doesn't work after it has been removed, it could be that the third party Hard drive you used has caused an Untimely death of your console.

Are there any error messages appearing or any error lights show on the console (Such as a red dot on the Power button)?

Hello,

I've taken these steps and the issue has not resolved. I believe the issue is within the Xbox App, not the console. I can stream from the console to YouTube or Twitch without any issues but encounter freezing and black screens when exiting or entering full screen in the Xbox App when streaming to my PC from the console through the Xbox App.
