YouTube App disappeared

Some time in the last 2 weeks the YouTube App has disappeared from my xbox 360. I have been away and not used it, went to play some stuff as usual and it wouldn't load, I can't remember what the message was, but it was as if it couldn't find it. Deleted
all the YouTube files from the hard drive storage with the intention of re downloading the App. But no the App is just not there in the Apps tab. 17 other Apps are available to download but not YouTube. I am in greece with a Greek account. I have had to
swap regions a couple of times in the last 12 months between UK and Greece as had problems purchasing and downloading games. I don't have access to any other consoles or another Live account. YouTube works fine on iPad and laptop, so not barred by Isp. Is
anyone aware of any recent changes to access in Greece? Any help appreciated

same problem is happening with me although mine has gone on for a while now and will not let me download the YouTube App, some apps including YouTube have disappeared from the app store and even deleting and reinstalling my account does not help :/

 

YouTube App - What the?!!! New bug. So annoying.

I'm having an issue with the youtube app on xbox one. I used to use the sidebar to scroll through all of my subscriptions to watch the newest uploads from all of my favorite channels. Now, my subscriptions have disappeared from the sidebar. I have to go
to "subscriptions" and scroll from the beginning every time I want to get to a different channel. I tried signing out and back in, as well as deleting and reinstalling the youtube app.

 

You could try searching for it with Bing section. Or it might be region locked but I don't see why that would be.

 

Tried searching in Bing, no luck. I presume not region locked, perhaps someone out there can give me a definitive answer?

Thanks for posting and being super detailed! I'm sorry to hear about the YouTube app seeming to disappear. I would suggest trying out these steps below to see if we can get you using the YouTube app again.

1. On the dashboard, navigate to the Apps Tab at the top.
   
2. Go to Browse Apps.
3. Then navigate to the Video Tab and go to See all.
   
4. Navigate to the YouTube app and try to download it.

Thank you for your suggestion, when logged in under my profile I get as far as browse apps. When I select that I only see all the Apps available. You tube is not one of them. There is no Video tab, and therefore no See All.

Thanks for trying the steps out, I greatly appreciate it. That's a bit odd it's not there. I have another question to run past you at this point. Do you have your Xbox 360 set to the locale of Greece? Just to be super sure, to update your locale on your
Xbox 360 follow along with these steps below.

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Console Settings.
3. Select Language and Locale.
4. Select Locale, and then select the location where you live.

Thanks for the suggestion, I am definitely already in the locale of Greece so no luck there, still no YouTube.

I had a brainwave and created a new profile and live account with an old email address on the xbox360. Low and behold YouTube app is there! So downloaded it, it works then signed out and back into the original profile and it is now there! And it works.
I also noticed there were 10 other Apps available on the new profile, not available on the old one.... No one seems to be able to find out why this original profile is behaving this way, it also doesn't show me the free games for gold. I suspect it got
corrupted some how due to swapping regions a few times this year... Anyway. All is well till next time... Thank you for your assistance. I know it hasn't solved the underlying problem but that's it for now.
