Discus and support Youtube app content restriction in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am trying to install the YouTube app on my xbox one on my adult account.     Youtube app content restriction


    I am trying to install the YouTube app on my xbox one on my adult account. None of my kids are signed in. Yet i am seeing "this is rated above a signed in user's restrictions."

    I also have turned off age restrictions.

    Any ideas?

    HELP!!: Last day or two NO videos are able to play thru the YouTube Xbox app.

    Not all videos on YouTube can be watch on Xbox YouTube app. Video content is restricted. If you read the user agreement with the app it states this.

    Youtube app is censored. A lot of music videos have been removed due to content restrictions.

    Totally pointless app if I can't view the full youtube.

    Much better to watch it through the IE app, plus it doesn`t restrict the content like the YouTube app does.

    Is there a way to lock the Restricted Mode on the YouTube app on the X-box One console?

    Thank you, but this restricts the YouTube app entirely if I lower the age limit. I just wanted to be able to set it so the restricted mode can't be turned off so it will block inappropriate content.

    I'm having the same problem, but when I tried the last step on the YouTube link, all I receive is (under both privacy and content restrictions) "Your privacy settings/content restrictions are in effect, but can't be changed until we connect to the service"
