Youtube App / Adobe Flash Player

Hi guys,I'm just curious if the youtube app for 360 uses adobe flash player,or if its something different,cause adobe is apparently having problems right now,and I'm wondering if it will affect the app on 360.

Internet Explorer App

I have downloaded it fine and i think its a great app but could you make it so that we can watch youtube videos on there by enabling the adobe flash player thanks.

then why cant i play a video on youtube when it says you need adobe flash player and since i have html5 video sorce i should be able to play youtube videos but i cant

If adobe on your pc is having issues you should update it. I believe a new version was just recently released.

As for the youtube app, if it begins to show issues the developers (youtube) will know and send out an update for it.

Just to add, there is no Adobe Flash Player on the 360.

Funny, my iPad doesn't support Flash, it's browser is far from useless. Adobe have ended support for Flash on the Android platform and Windows phone 7 has never supported Flash. The fact that the year is 2012 has nothing to do with
it. If Adobe, (who own the Flash plug-in) won't make it available now for anything other than PC and Mac platforms, how can you blame Microsoft when they have no say?

This is exactly why I haven't even been using any of the new apps they've come out with. The YouTube app won't let you play certain videos due to syndication or some other nonsense and now we finally have the opportunity for unrestricted access to YouTube
and we wind up being limited because Microsoft decides to be half-assed once again.

How is it half-assed of them to bring IE to Xbox 360 without Flash, when it's Adobe who make Flash not MS? As for certain YouTube videos not working in the app or on IE, blame the content providers. It's not MS's problem either. [/quote]

1.) Because Adobe didn't make a Flash Player for the Xbox One system, and won't make it, as

Adobe will move Flash to End of Life completely by 2020. Please ask the Chesscube site to convert their games to native HTML5, which has similar features like Flash, and you can use that on your Xbox One then.

2.) Because Google hasn't made a Chrome browser app for Xbox One. Please contact Google for questions on why there is no Chrome app for Xbox One.
