    Youth protection - just in one particular game


    Hey guys,

    since the 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Online Beta' was released yesterday, I downloaded it and when I wanted to play the first game (it's an exclusively online Beta) an error message popped up, which said:

    'This game mode cannot be chosen, because your account is not activated for Xbox Live-multiplayer. For activation, the following conditions have to be fulfilled: - The youth protection has to be disabled.'

    First of all: My gold membership is active and I never activated any kind of youth protection on my Xbox Live account and also never had a problem with it.

    The strange thing is, when I play my other games online everything works fine. I also wondered, why it was this exact game, where the youth protection takes effect, because it's a sport simulation, there is no need for any protection.

    When I then checked my whole settings (on my Xbox One and on the Xbox Live website) for any enabled protections, there was everything fine (network, account, family, content preferences etc.).

    I read a few forum articles but none of them worked out for me (like deleting game data or deleting and restoring my account on the console).

    Now I hope any of you has an idea, what the solution is?

    Seems like my Gold membership really expired a few days ago.

    Just got confused by the error message, it was a little misleading...

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! just to clarify, are you talking about changing your

    Privacy and Online Safety settings on the Xbox One     and changing a child account into an adult account? You cannot change a child into an adult, you can however, give the child account adult account permissions so that they are able to play certain games.
