    You're stuck on the Minecraft Windows 10 Beta? You are not alone!


    Hi, I'm Alex from the Minecraft community volunteer tech support. Ever since the Beta was introduced for Minecraft for Windows 10, people have been reporting issues with leaving the Beta through the Insider Hub. We can help some people with the generic instructions (more below if you do need help), but many of them simply can't seem to get unstuck from the Beta.

    One problem is that Microsoft/Xbox Support sends some people our way - beyond the generic instructions from the help pages however, we don't actually have further instructions.

    From Mojang & Microsoft, there are two official help pages - If you are stuck, please try those first:

    They offer a small variety of options that only attempt to fix the problem locally - a new case just alighted today: A user who has reinstalled his entire computer still gets the Beta downloaded, even after making sure he is unenrolled. This clearly makes this an account issue, something that requires fixing by Microsoft directly.

    If you are stuck on the Beta, and tried everything in the book to fix it, please leave a comment - my hope is that someone of note will see this, and either take action or try to explain the situation. I, for my part, find it very frustrating to tell people that they've been sent to us in error, since there is nothing we can do.

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

    forum post     and it seems like you may need to contact
    Mojang Support    . Usually a uninstall and reinstall of the game should work, however in your case it hasn't.
