    I have 3 Xboxes in my house, a One S (son), a One X (daughter), and a series X (mine). One for me and one for each of my kids. We are trying to play PAID games (my son playing Untitled Goose Game, and I am trying to play Civilization Revolution) not Game Pass or Gold games, both offline, and I keep getting the "already playing on a a different Xbox" message. Even on physical disc games (I tried Final Fantasy X remastered). I have set my series X to home console, and tried multiple things, but one of us keeps getting kicked out. Anyway to fix this? And why is this even a thing on DISC games?

    You can't use the same profile on 2 consoles at the same time, each one should have his own Xbox account, you can share the games on 2 consoles by using the home Xbox feature, but the third console will need to purchase the games/suscription again, on disc games this doesn't apply as you can use the disc on any of the consoles

    This could be because you are using cloud gaming in the same console or using a PC to play or a mobile device, you can try login out of all devices, including the console, after that power cycle the console and download the account again

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Kindly go to his Xbox console and make sure that your account is not set to "Auto sign in". Please follow the steps below:

    "Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & System > Settings.

    Under Account, select Sign-in, security & PIN.

    Select Change my sign-in & security preferences"

    Ask your son to do this on your Xbox console as well for his account.

    Once all done, make sure to hit the sign-out button, and ask your son to do it as well.
