Your TV signal was lost (I'm using Android Box with OneGuide)

    Hi,

I've been using my android box for a while now with OneGuide and it was working perfectly fine. Probably a month ago it just stopped working. When ever I try to switch to my Android box using OneGuide I get "Your TV signal was lost" message.

I have tried changing cables. Turning everything off and on again. Tried resetting the settings on both the Xbox one S that i have and the Android Box. I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point. Please help.

    :)

Xbox one and Denon AVR-791 no audio/image

After one day of having the xbox one hooked up to get the cable box hdmi signal from my Yamaha RX-V665 receiver, the cable box seemed to be overheating (presumably from Xbox pulling video constantly / polling the tv guide). The issues seen are the xbox displays
"We lost your TV signal, make sure your cable or satellite box is on and plugged in to the xbox" randomly while watching TV, at which time the display on the cable box shows "DUI (download user interface) as if it has just been restarted. Tested using through
receiver and directly connected to cable box with the same results, TV freezes and signal is lost often within moments randomly. Immediately after having the issue I can hook the cable box up directly to the TV at which time the TV signal works flawlessly.
Therefore the issue has to do with how the xbox one is utilizing the HDMI signal to and from the cable box. The cable box has never exhibited these issues before and doesn't have them when not connected to the xbox.

TV Tuner choose TV Lineup only has OTA Antenna

Hey, Tails222! Sorry to see any issue with setting up your OneGuide. With the TV Tuner, it only accepts OTA signals. If your cable provider isn't providing an OTA signal for your cable TV, the TV Tuner will not receive those signals. If your cable provider
requires you to plug in a coax to receive the signal, you will need to have a set-top box to do pass-through with the Xbox One.

For your TV, did you have to hook up a coax cable to be able to view your channels through there? Let me know so we can nail this one down. :)

Issue with my SKY box being connected to XB1

If you plugged your cable box directly into your TV and the issue didn't persist, follow these steps below to reset TV settings for OneGuide. This will take you to the beginning and you will be able to set up your cable box again, which would be a great
    place to start.

    • On your Xbox One controller, select Settings.
    • In the Settings menu, select TV & OneGuide.
    • In the TV & OneGuide menu, select Troubleshooting.
    • From here, Select 'Reset TV settings' and go through the process to set up your cable box with OneGuide.
Try the steps above and post back to let us know how it goes! Thanks!
