Your thoughts on Warframe?

As a predominant PC player, hoping to get an Xbox One soon, what are your thoughts on Warframe, and if you havn't tried it...why not?

It's a free to play Third person game, where you play as the Tenno, you use different guns, and melee weapons as well as suits of armour called Warframes, these enable you to use different powers which all have very unique visuals and effects.

I haven't gone back to the Flagon because I didn't want to. I once fast traveled to the graveyard because it becomes a discovered "Thieves Guild" spot. When I arrived that idiot Vald attacked me for stealing his key and slipping past him into the house.
That was the thanks I got for letting him live.

As for the forts, well, I live in South Louisiana and we have several and I have been involved in historical reenactments. Forts are often situated near water and being close to 200 years old and having been encroached on by the water they are damp and moldy
and smell that way. I like the smell of fresh dirt but damp, moldy bricks don't smell like that.

 

I haven't played it because it's a money-sink designed to get you to fork out more than the cost of an actual game.

This sort of "App Store Marketplace" has no place on a £400.00 console

 

I think its pretty cool for at least 2 hours. Then it start to get boring.

 

I tried it out and got a kick out of it. If I wasn't working so many hours, I'd likely play it some more.

 

I love it!!! My favorite game to come out so far. Already spent £40 on the game! Strange because it's not normally my type of game but I love it so much.

Only problem I have is I love and only play co-op/multiplayer games so when it comes to finding people to play with it can take up to 15 minutes just to find one player because there are soooo many missions that it's hard finding people on the same mission
as you if you are further ahead. So it always results to spamming invites to people on the chat room.

Played it after Destiny for a bit to see what it was like and overall didn't like it. The story was decent (compared to destiny what isnt?) but the controls... man the controls...

Now I would like to see this game with a decent FPS setup and then it could be a great game.

 

I played it for about 30 minutes and couldn't bring myself to continue.

 

For me it's the best game on Xbox, even with the frame rate issues. I would never say the game is perfect but for the price it is fantastic, with a little polish it would be perfect for me. If they fixed the frame rate issues, then announced it would no
longer be free, I'd buy it, it's that good. Story decent, game play excellent, graphics 7 out of 10, depth of game is by far the best of all games, you never run out of things to do, free to play nice but limited (still inexpensive to upgrade/customize <$10
for most gamers), and it's just plain old fun, while still being complex and challenging.

It's Destiny meets Ninja Gaiden, mashed with World of Warcraft.

 

I hated it. Boring and stupid microtransactions.

Even though it's free I can't bring myself to play it.

 

90% of the game can be done for free. Most micro trans are for cosmetic items like customized colors and such. Even the hard to find stuff can be bought for like $1 and they give you $4 to start with. The micro trans serve to generate money for the devs
but they also encourage players to play the game to find the items rather than buy them. Once you've invested your time into the game then you have no problem spending a buck or two now and again to customize your character or add some bling, or extended
you wepon slots, etc. I've been playing for 2 months and have yet to spend the credit given when downloaded, vs the $60 I spent of Dead Rising, Titan Fall, Forza 5, and Battle Field 4, all a which got boring after 2 weeks, and most of which have additional
DLC at a cost. Warframe is updated with new content at no cost. New quest, new characters, new features, etc.

 

Like big biznesss says most of the game can be done free just gotta work to get the stuff you want. Just started playing this and was pleasantly surprised, controls could be better ... but ain't gonna complain. Good solid free game.
