I cant get the dang game either ggrrrrrrrr

 

I have the same problem here. It is really annoying because I had two chats with support and I ended up here.

The worst thing is that it feels like support have not heard about this before cause it takes 1-2 hours to find the "we will inform developers and so on" solution. I have used a lot of time in trying to find how to fix this issue and it was just a waste
of time. A growing number of users is getting only frustration after waiting so long for this well promoted compatibility upgrade. In my eyes it is an example of how things should not be done. It would be great if someone who has more information about when
the fix will see the light (if there will be a fix at all) could post it here. As I see from one post, we should wait until 22nd.

 

I have the same problem. "Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." Tried many times on PC marketplace.xbox.com Some other purchases worked fine - but Dungeon Siege III - nope

 

OK. I think I have the fix. At least this worked for me. I'm in Canada and only have a XBOX One. My Xbox Live
360 account (which must have been created through the backward compatability update) was set to the US region, which must be why it wouldn't process the order. On the
www.xbox.com site I went into gamer tag->Xbox settings at the top of the screen is an option to "Change 360 account region" I changed that to Canada. The second thing I did was make sure my Xbox Live account
region to Canada (https://support.xbox.com/en-CA/my-account/manage-account/change-region). After both were completed the free purchase of Dungeon Siege went
through. I'd spent a week trying to get it to work plus an hour with support previously. Hopefully this works for you as well.

same issue. Cant buy anything off xbox.com .. Was able to just days ago and got the last gold titles. Now I cant get any titles. Too bad cant get bc gold games through console or phone stores. Those work fine. Spent days talking to the chat people..
wish i had all the hours back. .Had to just give up and hope they give up on xbox.com and make the stores in the app and on console do this because thats the only method that works.

 

Got same issue, support made me change my region from US to PH since my CC was in PH. Now i cant change it back to US since I have to wait 3 months to change my region and still cant download the game. Tried VPN and different server and browser, still cant
purchased.

Hope this'll be resolved ASAP.

 

Same issue, can't download Dungeon Siege for Xbox 360 with a Gold Membership.

 

Still the same. Impossible to download free games or buy new ones which were released on xbox360 but compatible to play on xbox one. Black Friday is on, but you can not buy. Good job Microsoft, thanks for saving my money.

 

Canadian EEKS... that fixed it. Make sure your "360 account region" to match your account. I'm in Canada too, so did the same. Thanks!

 

Hi all, add myself to the list ' same exact problem, I thought it was something applying to all games, but not being in time to try with Dirt 3 I couldn't say that.

I see instead someone could download Dirt3 without problems, so must be with Dungeon Siege.

@vegetable sigh Philippines is not an xbox live region

In order to get 360 games you must live in an xbox live region and have a payment method from that region

But however region locked games require you to also be physically there's

And there will be no support. They simply "failed to mention" that backwards compatibility will NOT be region unlocked as Xbox One games are. So now loyal, paying customers will not be able to use it if they move to other countries where xbox live is not
officialy supported, because of IP lock.
