"your profile was not completely downloaded please download it again from xbox live" ...

When trying to log in to my account to play castle crashers, I have been getting the following message

"your profile was not completely downloaded please download it again from xbox live"

Despite trying to redownload the account I have gotten the same message over and over. Not really sure where to go but here with this issue/

Error 80151103

Paid for Castle Crashers. Xbox live will not download my profile. Keeps saying 'unable to download profile right not try again later". later never arrives. I can log in fine online but nothing through Xbox. I am sure Xbox loses a lot of money because of
these issues. I am just going to ask for a refund if I cant get it downloaded in the next 24 hours.

 

Any resolutions to this issue? My son is having the same problem.

 

Hey, bukb! Sorry to see that you are running into this issue! I suggest you clear your local Xbox 360 Storage from your console so that you can get the account onto the console as a fresh case. You can do that by following these steps:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
   1. Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
      
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All settings.
4. Select System and then select Storage.
5. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
6. Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.

This is typical of microsoft, the account management is really poor.

I've hit problems with skype and ms account linking, outlook, msdn subscriptions ...

Microsoft just cant manage single sign on!

This suggestion doesn't work!

 

Its worse ... This site doesn't even render properly on my windows mobile!

 

misses quinzel's solution worked for me when I was having this problem with Aegis Wing.

 

fyi- after many attempts at this- we found out that the profile you are trying to download inside a xbox360 game (that is being played on the xbox one) needs to be signed in on the xbox one BEFORE it will correctly download the profile inside the 360 game.

 

What if I did exactly that and had both accounts on Xbox one and Xbox360 same time and it still says profile not downloaded, download for live, etc

 

This may be very late but Either a modder/ cheater has got into your account and put all your levels on games full (It happened to me once) or your profile has been corrupted

 

i have been trying to see my profile in this site but when it goes to the profile page all i can see is the Xbox logo and i try ro reload it but it doesnt work. What should i do

"Attempt to re-enter the game and press the two buttons on the Xbox One controller that represent “Start” and “Select”. It should pull up an Xbox 360 menu where you can attempt to sign-in and download your
Xbox Live profile.

It should take a few moments to download the profile assuming it connects correctly.
