    I can hear other people but I can't talk unless I'm signed in my profile on xbox.com or using party text. When I try messaging people it says I'm banned, but my 24 hour banned was lifted 2 days.

    I have my privacy on open, nothing is hidden and I tried re-downloading my profile. please help.

    Hello I have been playing Xbox for years and have always kept my setting open so I can chat with anyone that come across online. Recently I tried starting an Xbox Live Party and I got a warning telling me "Your privacy settings prevent chat with some people".
    I checked my setting and they are open to anyone, I even went on the computer and made sure my setting were open throughout. After restarting my console, clearing it's cache, and restarting my internet a couple of times, my Xbox does not seem to allow me to
    chat with my friends or anyone for that matter. Please help.

    Sorry to hear it. This sometimes happens after a communications ban. Can you please try deleting and redownloading your profile?

    This is my chat with them. it fixed it! try it out-

    Alright thank you. On your Xbox One, Please go to Settings>>All Settings>>Disc & Blu-ray>>Blu-ray>>Persistent Storage>>Clear.

    After that, please press and hold the power button of the Xbox for 5-10 seconds until it completely turns OFF. Then please unplug the power supply.

    After a minute, please turn ON the Xbox console. It should work then.
