Your plans for destiny

So with Destiny right around the corner I have found myself daydreaming and wondering to myself how I plan on spending the few days or even weeks playing it. Will I immediately start with the campaign or am I going
to roam around aimlessly and see what there is to find will I link up will my friends right off the bat or will I go balls to the wall guns blazing on my own for a while...... I really don't know all I know is I am going nuts waiting to find out. What about
everyone else are you in the same mindset or have you chosen what your how you gonna play it???? Also what steps have you taken to ensure that you will be able to play it as soon as possible do you plan on coming down with a 72 hour bug by the 9th or did you
put in some time off for this. Personally I am taking my weeks vacation and don't plan on turning my Xbox 1 off the whole week lol. Should be fun can't wait!

Destiny Launch Day Marathon Madness!

I'm pretty stoked for this as well. I plan on not emerging from my Destiny themed hibernation in my living room for some time.

(cough...cough) I feel a Destiny-plague coming on.

You're complaining about Project Scorpio and you don't have or plan on getting a 4k tv for a while? Scorpio is a waste of your time... like Destiny. Anyone who really cares about Destiny plays it on Playstation anyways. You should move on.

 

No plans as I don't plan to buy it.

 

I'm gonna be playing it with my girlfriend and whoever else wants to play. We loved the beta and this game was an obvious day one. So excited! Less than 24 hours to go.

 

I missed out on the beta myself due to a mixture of work and misplacing my code by the time I found it it was to late which was kind of depressing. I think I am going to play alone for at least the first few hours to get a decent feel for it then trying
tagging along with some of my friends. I had a ton a of fun with the crew I played defiance with so hoping for a repeat experience if they all get the game.

 

Beta was fun. My son's a Bungie fan so we have it preordered. He won't get it until his birthday in October. I have no particular plans for it, I'll play it when I'm not playing Borderlands 1.5 or Airmech

 

i'll get it eventually with the white ps4...though i think i'll be spending more time on all the games i've missed so far into the new consoles generation. probably play while downloading the huge list of ps+ games and infamous, since it'll be the only disc
based game i plan on buying for these new consoles...and that's only because of the white console. oh, and sunset overdrive, again because of the white xbox one.

like with every other game, i'll be going head first into single player. if a random person follows me around while i shoot things, that's their prerogative. i have no interest in talking to them or joining their guild or doing a mission or quest with them.
i don't know you, i don't want to know you.

 

My copy arrived over the weekend.

Just waiting for them to turn the Servers on.

 

Ill be exploring Old Russia with some forum regulars come tomorrow night.

 

im not sure weather to get it for 360 or wait and get it for xb1 will there be much difference?

 

Sleep, go to work, come home, maybe play it for an hour or 2, eat dinner. Rinse & repeat. I have it preordered, but it isn't necessarily a game I am dying to play. I'm sure I'll sporadically play it when Xbox friends are online wanting me to join them.

 

I took a half day tomorrow and have Wednesday off. I expect to alternate playing solo campaign and joining up with some forum regs.

 

I getting it on 360. Will more than likely roam this week since I have support a church event during most evenings this week.

 

I'm still on the fence about the game. I thought the Beta left a lot to be desired, but I'm excited to read some reviews and hear some feedback from you guys.
