Yes.

There are a couple of remastered games that can use your 360 save,think Borderlands The Handsome Collection & Minecraft both do.

I don't think there is any need to do that. If you look at the backward compatibility list, you will find games on there which have had the remastered treatment. Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, Halo games (As Master Chief Collection), Assassins
Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelations (As Ezio Collection), Assassins Creed Rogue (Coming next month) & Burnout Paradise (Coming next month) to name a few. I think they're many gamers out there which would like to play both the Xbox 360 version & the remastered
versions of the game. I'm sure sometime in the future, you will probably see the Xbox 360 versions of some of the other remastered games will also make it to the backward compatible catalogue too.

Since there is a Master Chief collection, I don't think they will do a full remaster...
