    Annihilator1979, about the last time Xbox "gave" customers compensation for interruption was inside the first two years the LIVE service was started. After that, their pants were large enough that mere token and vague acknowledgement were lavish
    extravagance showered upon the undeserving and irksome - how to voice it, so loathsome -
    customer.

    My advice is to not hold your breath in anticipation for jack-diddly, unless brain-death through oxygen deprivation is your thing.

    Note, every single night this week so far some part of Live has been down. Supposedly ONLY specific and limited parts were affected, yet feedback and my personal experience is not only was Live unusable, but rendered any game or apps I used unserviceable and
    I lost hours of gameplay and hard earned rare and valuable in-game items that can't be replaced because of service interruptions. Do they care? Maybe. Will they do anything? Expect a sprinkle of letters that will form a short front of words, possible we might
    even see a paragraph or two, but no significant reciprocation is expected.

    Hey everyone!

    Sorry to hear about the connection issues, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following troubleshooting steps a try:



    • First, check out our Service Status page to see if there are any service alerts that may be the cause of the connection issue.
    • If there are no service alerts, start by removing your profile from your Xbox One console.
    • Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
    • Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
    • Unplug the power cord from your router, modem or gateway.
    • Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console, router, modem or gateway.
    • Power on your console and add your profile to your Xbox One console.
    • Navigate to Settings, then select Test Network Connection.
    • Check to see if you are experiencing the same error message.

    Give the suggested steps a try and let us know how it goes!

    likewise, my xbox live status page has been like this for the past 4 days ever since i bought cod aw Purchase and Content UsageLimited

  7. I know that the message says it's affecting downloading items but could be affecting NAT as well? I've had my XB1 port forwarded for a while but I have a bad router so every now and then my router will forget to put on it's A game on and my XB1 will slip
    into strict NAT. Which is a pain in the a** but oh well I usually can get on my router WAN settings and clear my port forwards and reset them and my XB will go back to open. Today I couldn't hear anyone at all while I was playing and i went to go fix my NAT
    and the best I can get it back to is moderate now. Which is absolutely 10x more frustrating than any other NAT type. Does anybody have a solution? Or at least condolences because I have a terrible router and a worse ISP?

    hopefully we can get some additional info about this issue, This is day two for me with the same problem going on,

    "your network is good but Xbox live isnt"

    Thats the message im still getting, Im hardwired into a fully fuctioning router so I have no clue how to solve this

    I just go my XB1 last night and was able to download and install the first update but after the XB restated once again it said "It's time to update" and now that's when the XBL issues happened. I can't do anything but look at that error screen. I haven't
    even been able to sign in or play any games because I can't get passed that "You need this update to use your console message". For now its just a $350 paper weight while I download this massive manual update that still has 9 hours to go

    So, after not getting a reply by the support on Twitter or here I decided to call tech support, I should have just called that # to begin with. I now have the problem resolved, here are the steps that we took to ultimately resolve the issue. Obviously we
    did the whole power cycle crap....no dice. Then we plugged the xbox directly into the wall instead of the power strip(I doubt that does anything but hey...whatever.)Then he had me unplug the router, and power back on for a hard reset...(push the stupid button
    in the back with a pin) Went into the router settings, set network name and password. Turn off the firewall completely, and update DNS setting to the xbox IP address. Powered back on xbox and boom, back to open NAT and no more stupid error of "Your Connection
    is awesome but Xbox live is on the struggle bus".

    Hope that helps to anyone plagued by this ridiculous error message.
