"Your network is good, but there are some Xbox service issues"

I keep getting this message when I test my connection. My brother can sign into his xbox live from the same xbox one but it won't let me. This is the first time I have signed into my profile on xbox one. Previously I have been playing on my old 360. HELP

I cannot connect to Xbox Live. I get this error each time I test the network to see its status. The network is 100% operational and does work. What can I do to get back on Xbox Live?

try and just sign out of your profile , then right back in...

Sorry to hear about the issue. That message pops up whenever there is a service alert on our Xbox website. For this issue, I recommend deleting your profile from the Xbox One console and redownload it. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
  
• In the Settings menu, select your gamertag on the far right side of this menu and delete your profile.
  
• Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to clear the system cache.
  
• Download your profile back the the Xbox One console.

Try the steps above and let us know how it goes!

 

Hi there! We are having a similar issue, but aren't able to get to the menu. Can you help us figure out how to access settings?

 

I too am having this problem when trying to log into Netflix. The Kinect will recognize me with no issue, and I can sign in manually no issue, but I get this error when testing my network connection when Netflix can't connect. I've no problems accessing
Netflix via my laptop, Galaxy S4, Nexus tablet, ChromeCast or my older PS3.

According to the Network menu of the Settings app, there are 2 service alerts regarding Xbox Live:

Purchase and Content Usage: This is regarding the Havoc map pack issue that some people are reporting regarding Exo Zombies

Xbox Live Core Services: This one is due to the sign in issue

As with this and any other service alerts, keep an eye on
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status every 30 minutes or so to see the current status of Xbox Live. I understand the feeling that we get when we plan on a session with a group and Xbox Live happens to have issues.

 

This seems to be happening quite frequently with the new Xbox system. I can't help but feel both taken advantage of and like I'm losing money on a system I thought of at the time as worthy. It seems at least once a week I have some issue with gaming due
to on xbox's end. This is extremely frustrating for all of us. If this continues at its current rate how will the consumers be compensated for the loss of ability to enjoy the product/s we paid for to its entirety?

If xbox.com/status is supposed to update us every 30 mins the why hasn't it been updated in 1.5 hrs?
