Your Microsoft Edge app on Xbox is garbage

Edge is not garbage given form on the Xbox one...

Make sure you have xbox rewards app on your xbox bing and edge on your phone and use edge on your tablet or laptop to get best from microsoft rewards. Hope this helps then search microsoft rewards check your micosoft. Account for the different rewards
on different platforms.

I am so sorry to hear the update caused an error with your Microsoft Edge App. If you have checked your internal storage in games and apps and checked external, (if you have an extra drive plugged in) and there is no instance of it using your xbox go to
the "store" drop down at the top towards the right of your screen and go to the apps section and search "Microsoft Edge" and attempt to redownload the app.

We understand that you need help with your Microsoft Edge on your Xbox One console. I would like to ask if are you part of the Insider program? Also is this happening to other apps or only this specific app?

For the mean time, you may try to uninstall the reinstall the Microsoft Edge app. If the issue persist you may try to reset the Microsoft Edge profile settings, however it will remove all your customization to the browser.

Upon reading the description you have posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein even after you to turn off the sleeping tabs the system and performance setting was gone its not even there. And when you open one tab on your MS edge browser it will only show 2 seconds and just go away.
