Your message could not be sent.

I have been attempting to send messages to those on my friends list and of those i don't really know, But i keep getting this error of "Your message could not be sent" I checked my privacy settings and everything looks right. Any help would be very much
welcomed. Thank you.

For a week now i have not been able to send messages to my friends on Xbox. When I try i get a popup saying "Message Could Not Be Sent". I need help to fix this

 

I cant send messages on xbox live

When I try to message some one it says "Your message could not be sent."

If you could please Clear your system cache 3-times to ensure any un-needed files are removed. (Settings, system, storage, hover-over the Hard-drive and click (Y).) Once you do that please then re-download your profile only and test your Xbox Live connection
to ensure your getting the best results. After that please restart your Xbox and try to send Messages. Currently are you able to send messages through the Xbox.com website? Please keep us updated!

You get this message when you exceed your daily limit of messages. Exactly how many messages this is depends on the following factors:

• How many messages you try to send to strangers per day
• How many messages you try to send to friends per day
• How many unique recipients you try to send to per day

This limit is in place to prevent unwanted messaging to multiple recipients. Read more here

Note After you get this error, you'll be unable to send messages for a 24-hour period.

 

I've tried the steps given by TopDog and still unable to send messages, I couldn't send messages from the site either and this has been happening for a few weeks.

 

I'm still unable to send messages to anyone, I created an alt account with the same settings as my main and its able to send messages perfectly.

I'm sorry to see that this error is still occurring. At this moment please contact Xbox Support to have this case sent to the Xbox Advocacy Team to have them look into this for you. You may contact Xbox Support at:
support.xbox.com/contact-us They will be able to send the case to them so they can look both on the Server Side and within the Account to resolve the issue. If you have any further questions

I also have the same problem as this. I can't send messages to anyone. I've already contacted Xbox Support and it hasn't been resolved. Also this has been happening for months.

Recently i could never send someone a message thats not on my friends list. It keeps saying "This message cannot be sent" , over and over. If you could tell me the reason why that would be great my gamertag is - Youtube 360 HD -
