Your GTAV Impressions

Mine and a friends transfered over fine. What exactly has been the issue?

Car's handle on in cockpit view, it's actually a lot of fun.

 

Wait, is it mandatory first person (cockpit view)??? I thought first person was just a option?

 

Yeah it's optional. There is a new achievement for playing in first person for 15 hours.

 

It is fantastic. Have Dragon Age as well but have not started it yet.

 

I was going to get Dragon Age but the videos I've seen just haven't got me hyped like I thought they would have. I'll pick it up after Xmas at some point when it's a bit cheaper.

 

I am really, really enjoying it. I love the first person view. Gives a whole new perspective of the game. I find the car damage has been slightly improved, but slightly is still better. The driving is pretty much the same, I can't really see it being worse
to be honest. Some missions are harder in first person because you can't see all around you, so I tend to switch to 3rd person ever once in a while. The graphics are far better.. it was hard to notice at first, but if I where to load up GTA V on 360, then
yes it's a great difference. I did notice that some of the mission cut scenes where slightly different. For example in the mission where Micheal and Jimmy are going to ride bikes a the Pier, in the first cut scene of that mission Micheal yells "James" and
as he is going up the stairs he yells his sons name again, and Jimmy tells him to [bleep] off. But this time around Micheal yells "James" once and goes up the stairs and it cuts directly to Jimmy's room. I also like that fact that you can buy all the bonus
content from last years SE and CE editions (ex: hammer).

As you know if you pre-ordered the game you'd get $1,000,000.00. $500,000.00 for Story Mode and $500,000.00 for GTA Online. I have to admit I was slightly disappointed when only Franklin got the $500,000.00 it would have been nice to have the $500,000.00
split between the three protagonists. Because I am completely out of money for Micheal. And it's too early in the game for me to start using cheats.

I only ran into one "game breaking" if you want to call it that.. glitch. During the mission "Marriage Counseling" where you had to go and chase down Amanda tennis instructor, nearing the end where you hook the wench up to the house's deck. I was in first
person mode (not sure if it had anything to do with the glitch happening), Micheal got completely stuck between the truck and the wench. Forcing me to re-load the game to my last save point. I did the mission again only I did that part in 3rd person and no
more issue after that.

All and all my first impressions of this game is that this game is amazing. Rockstar has done a great job with this updated version.

i impress with the game on X360, is there any different on Xbox One? additional mission maybe?

 

If you haven't read the others talk about it yet, ridife, the game on the Xbox One offers you a whole new perspective on how to play it - 1st person.

 

This game on the XBO gets two thumbs up.

It's Grand Theft Auto and it's pretty; need I say more?

 

had so much fun on the 360 version, i decided to purchase it again. First impression was that it ran sooo much smoother than the 360 version. Lighting and textures are enhanced, not greatly, but it is noticeable...and the fist person view is a riot!

 

I loved it last gen so I'm definitely loving it now.

 

Graphics definitely look a lot better!

Kind of wish the story progress transferred over as well, but it is a fun single player story so I don't really mind replaying it

 

I haven't played the 360 version in about a year, didn't really go back once I got the XB1. But I don't really see how this looks all that much better, I mean I'm sure there are comparison vids that show it but while playing I'm not seeing it. I don't notice
the better draw distance, more traffic or detail, IDK. I'm still going to enjoy it like crazy, excited to play the campaign again since I ripped through it so fast before the Online went up. Then the online had issues for weeks, buy had some enjoyment before
leaving it. At least I have a bit more online content to enjoy.
