Your favorite car in FM5 and why

The Caterham Superlight R500 has officially become my all time favorite car in FM5. I like it because it's
super-fast, super-light, and I have made an absolutely great A-class tune that makes it stick to the road like it was glued to it and it even has impeccable turning ability which is great for those pesky tracks with numerous tight turns, like

Bathurst (check out and download my tuning setup!). Also, there was a really great design for it featuring the Joker that I've found that's got a great mix of the colors green, black, and purple. Sadly, it's a DLC car, so unless you're willing to shell
out some dough, you won't be driving this masterpiece any time soon. The description of this car from the official FM5 website is pretty apt too:

what I am going to do is make a session just to find that car, maybe bring some friends in to help me find it. but I need that car, my garage just feels incomplete without it lol

I don't really have a favorite yet. I need to give this some thought in an effort to form a reasonable answer. At any rate, I thought I'd post because I've actually been in a Caterham before in real life. A client of mine is one of the only authorized dealers
in our entire region so I've had a chance to look at several over the last few years. Their
web site is pretty basic but, you can see that one with 1,444 miles on it just sold for $35k. Pretty sweet! They aren't practical and I don't fit in them so well, seeing as how I'm 6'4"
with a 6'8" wingspan.

 

There are too many superlative cars to be able to choose just one favorite .

 

Gotta be the Ariel Atom for me at the minute, however I need more top end speed. I will have a look at the Caterham as I like grippy cars.

Ariel
The Ariel Motor Company has always been an innovator, developing its first patent for tensioned spoke wheels on a 48 inch, two-speed, ‘penny farthing’ bicycle in 1870 and the company’s history building bicycles goes
back as far as 1847. Ariel went on to develop one of the first quadricycles and developed and sold cars until 1925. The company then switched to building and designing motorcycles and after, developing a large following, became part of the much larger BSA
group in 1951. BSA produced Ariel model motorcycles until 1967. The last vehicle produced under the Ariel brand was a 1970 three-wheeled, tilting moped (the Ariel 3), until a budding sports car manufacturer named Solocrest purchased the renowned name in 1999.
In 2000, Ariel LTD released its first exo-skeleton road-going car, the Atom. The car’s lack of exterior bodywork, open-wheel suspension, and ultra-lightweight design astounded car enthusiasts, not to mention its lightning-quick acceleration. Originally powered
by a Rover K-Series engine, evolutions of the Atom ran Honda V-Tech powertrains and achieved the fastest 0-100 and back to zero speed record for a road legal car.

 

In every Forza or Gran Turismo game I always fall way in love with the C an B Class Hatchbacks. I don't know why, and I am not sure how they all became my favorites. But I always go straight for them and can't ever put them down. I always find a reason to
upgrade one of those instead of buying a new car haha. Just one of those things I guess
