Your e3 predictions

I wouldn't mind at the end of the presentation an Apple like release for OS updates. "External Hard Drive Support update available... today!" Maybe even a little update on that possible 360 emulator (for those who are just joining in on the Xbox fun).

E3 Predictions

Just wondering, what are your guys predictions for this year's E3? Specifically from Microsoft.

I read a few interesting things in this recent E3 article (Our E3 2012 Predictions) and it got me thinking.

I want to see more of The Division, Quantum Break and Cyberpunk 2077, plus release dates for Mirror's Edge and Beyond Good and Evil. Everything else is gravy.

 

For people that like multi-player such as myself...it doesn't matter. Now think about the casuals, the people that only play single-player, those that don't play games at all, and them that can't afford Gold all the time; that's a lot of potential console
sales that M.S. could be losing. More consoles equals a larger install base, which in turn means more developer support. I can only see that as a benefit for gamers.

I never thought of it that way since Xbox Live seemed like a mandatory purchase to myself when I bought the One. They could remove the pay wall or strike a deal where with Xbox Live Gold membership, fees to Netflix of Hulu could be smaller or removed. Just
a thought to give incentives both ways.

 

I would like MS to leave Gold as is. I think it acts as a filter to keep the gaming environment somewhat civil. I would really like to see MS release some sort of TV programing, similar to cable.... that would make the X1 a true home entertainment system..

A price decrease in DD games with pre-order bonuses would be neat.

 

There would still be the Gold requirement for online gaming. Those that don't go online for gaming wouldn't factor into the equation.

On a side note, I believe the Netflix experience is MUCH smoother on the X1 than say a Roku; the U.I. is cleaner, the search function is more evolved, etc..

 

With the recent turn of events between EA and Respawn I wouldn't be surprised to see a Titanfall 2 announcement with the inclusion of a true campaign!!!

 

If they even talk about Titanfall 2 before the first's been out for atleast 6 months i'll walk away right now. They should be adding co-op monster fighting survival dlc involving 6 titans...to the game they JUST came out with.

 

I want to add to what Collapse said and that Resident Evil 7 would get me pretty excited too. Though a digi Resident Evil 2 remake would get me jumping even more!

 

I've seen some interesting speculation on Twitter this morning. One site "claims" to have a leaked document basically saying ...

Microsoft will announce a Kinect-less version with a 1TB HDD for £299 and ...

Early adopters will get Halo 2 and another game free.

I can't see it myself but I guess stranger things have happened

 

I cant see that happening either but if it does, I would be happy for those that want it kinectless, happy for the free games, but unhappy for the future of the Kinect

You always get rumours/speculation and even more as E3 gets near lol

Some turn out to be true, others not, as I said I can't see it personally but it wouldn't totally surprise me.

My bet is if anything they will announce another price drop, we shall see.

 

Interesting news is that lofty hope it turns out to be true
