"Your console is connected to the Internet but can't contact Xbox Live."

So, this is obviously an issue with Xbox Live considering every other thing on the network is just dandy. What's worse is that I saw somebody cross-post a different "fix" to this issue (and I should have double-verified what garbage they were talking about,
but at this point I'm pretty well frustrated that this thing is not working) had to do with a profile issue so I deleted mine and cleared the cache three times, but I can't download my profile what with the freaking network being down, can I?

How many consoles do you have connected to this router?: 1 wired (the 360) 1 wireless (PS3)

Things you have tried: Resetting the modem, resetting the router, turning the console off and on again, beating my head against a table, and Satanic ritual.

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?: No.

Is UPnP Enabled?: No?

Any Error Codes you encounter: None

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?: Comcast or Xfinity...whatever those idiots are calling themselves these days.

After you run "Test Xbox Live connection", press “A” for "More Info”, and then "Y" for "Status". In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

W: 0000 - 000B

X: 0000 - F001

Y: 30A8 - 4840

Z: 0000 - 0000

ID: 0006 - 0000

L: 8015 - 190E

Q: 8007 - 0435

T: Wired

A: 192.168.0.100/255.255.255.0

An Xbox live connection error

also it say in the pop-up " your console is connected to the internet but can't contact Xbox live"

If this is the account you are using you will need to get a gold account to play on live.

Are you able to sign into Xbox.com with this profile? If so, can you post here using the Gamertag so we can take a closer look? Or are you currently posting from the account with the issue.

Are you able to sign into other profiles on the console, or are you not able to get to that screen due to the error message?

Unfortunately, there are many posts and reports about not being able to sign in right now, so it seems Xbox Live is experiencing a temporary error right now.

I'd say give it about 30 minutes to an hour, and try again - good luck!
