I can't download free Xbox 360 games that are part of games with gold. I just get a message (the title). I've seen tons of forums regarding this problem yet I've never found a solution. My account is 18+ and I have a credit card linked to it. Microsoft said
you can only solve this problem by making the purchase using an Xbox 360, which I unfortunately don't have. I've missed so many good games because of this problem and I don't want the same to happen with Battlefield 3. Help .

We were able to determine that the account you're posting from is not an adult account. Keep in mind that the age on your Xbox Live is based off of the first birthdate provided, and cannot be changed (regardless if you edited your Microsoft Account's birthdate).

Keep in mind a lot f games wit gold is region locked so

If you get invalid payment you must update the payment method

So I'm. Not sure what you hoped to accomplish

Xbox 360 games are tend to be region locked and it requires you to be physically there to get it

Unlike using your actual country which would Garentee you can get al the games

You do not need it every time you only need to do it once to complete the check as stated that is the solution

Credit card will always be needed

There is nothing you can do. It has been this way for at least several years, because I have continually checked for my son's ability to purchase (or get free) things on the xbox.com website. Apparently anyone under the age of 18 lacks the ability to purchase
anything other than on the console itself regardless of the settings you parental controls you choose.

So, your nephew will be missing out on the Xbox 360 Games With Gold, just like my son does currently.
