Please help i recently bought a $70 gift card for my self so i can buy black ops 2 and season pass but i cannot download bo2 it keeps saying Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox.
i made myself a adult account and changed my age over 18 why doesnt it work ps i dont have a xbox 360 but i have other backwards compad games but with disk not downloadable HELP

If you are using a Child or Teen account you would need to make the purchase on an Xbox 360 console. Then you'll be able to download the game from the

Ready to Install section on the Xbox One console.

I think that troubleshooting article relates to a different issue, the error message is different, there is no problem with xbox live status, I have compared and updated his settings to match my own settings (I a able to purchase things without issue on
the same console, so the console is not banned and also his account is not banned.

Thanks for clarifying as well as ensuring that your settings match up. I believe

this article will explain the error in more detail. Essentially Child accounts are restricted from purchases from the Xbox 360 Marketplace and technically the Avatar Store is going through the Xbox 360 Marketplace at the present time. The best thing you
can do is use an Xbox 360 console to obtain the free content for his profile.
