    Young Son's account hacked


    Help my young son's microsoft gaming account has been hacked and the hackers have changed the email address linked to the account, and he can no longer sign into his account. We have looked at the Microsoft account recovery methods which tell us to use the account recovery form but this form will not allow us to use it as it says that the email address does not exist. Does anyone know how to fix this or how to get help from microsoft....very frustrating trying to get help from Microsoft!

    He got his account hacked because:

    -

    He gave the hacker his cards because he said he could duplicate them, this is not actually hacking but its a common scam...

    -

    He got key logged - Entering his details into a fake site etc...

    -

    Or he actually gave his details away.

    Just learn from your mistakes you wont get anything back so i wouldnt even bother trying, just tell your son not to do the above.

    No, as I said above. I'm having the issue whilst logged into this account which is my main parent account. I do have a separate child account for my young son, but that account isn't even logged in.

    I know almost for sure that it is age related. When you sign up for an Xbox live account, you must enter your birthdate and year. Ýour son must be to young for a "normal" account.

    Unfortunately I cant refund your money. My only suggestion is that you remove your card details if they are on your son's account.

    I would also set up your own account and give your son one too if he is young id make sure your account is the parent and give him a child's account.
