You would think in 2016 digital downloads would be cheaper?

I would love that D33dles. I would pay extra to get both a digital and physical like with movies. The only issue right now for games that I see is that game sharing thing. A digital game can be played on 2 consoles. The home by someone and on a non-home
by the owner. With the digital-physical combo I could buy that and have 3 people use it. Then again, it costs more. So they are making extra money up front. So they are making more initially. I would do that for some games. I think the Division would
be one. I would easily pay $90 for a physical/digital combo because of this.

 

EnenDaveyBoy you have to wait for deals. I got AC Unity when it was still new for €9.00. I got Metal Gear Solid 5 on sale for €20.

oh xbox live on cdkeys, no disputing that, and I am not saying they don't have good deals, what I am saying is its not often, and they aren't always cheapest.

The witcher 3 goes up and down in value, but has been cheaper in the xbox store than it ever has been on cdkeys.

Are those deals digital and where from? Although AC unity hasn't exactly been well received MGS5 more so.

Nope Microsoft have no competition and a lot of people are downloading new releases and are happy to pay the high price. Maybe some of the older games towards to the end of the console life cycle will be discounted as it is on Xbox 360's marketplace right
now. Most older digital games retail $30.00 AUD on the Xbox 360. I'm guessing less in the US and UK.

 

Sod digital my internet went down last night, provider tells me that a tech can get to me next Tuesday, so no Netfilix, no Amazon Prime, no digital music library, no digital movie and video library no Live! Was going to play some Evolve for a change but

Yes, it does suck to lose the Internet for a long time. A few year ago some lads come racing past in their cars, one of them decided to roll his car into a neighbour's garden and take the telegraph pole with him, BT were quick to come and put a new pole
up but we suffered constant down times for 6 weeks. Eventually after many phone calls they found the problem.... The car hitting the pole had stretched and split wires right down the road, so any moisture and rain got into the wires and killed the phone and
broadband connection.... It was a nightmare.

 

What I don't get is why are 7 year old games still going for $30 on the marketplace? Modern Warfare 2 for example is still $30. Really? Are enough people still buying MW2 for $30 to justify it still being that much? Maybe so? You can get the PC version for
$11. I can almost guarantee MS would make more money on older games if they cut their prices in half. I'm curious how many of the forumfielders here would buy a lot more older games if they were in the $10 range. I know I would. The way I would look at it
is it's $10, no big deal if I don't like it, it's $10. I even bought Titanfall for $5 during the Christmas sale just to check it out. I have to admit though Titanfall is slowly growing on me.
