You tube Xbox one fix

So what's happening with you tube on Xbox one? On 50% of yt videos the screen horizontally splits, half black half video, cutting off what's been watched. Been doing this for at least 4 months now Any fixes? Thanks

Is this only happening with the app? Because as I have checked there are no reported issues on Xbox's end as well as on Youtube's end.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

Thanks for your reply, although the "try turning it off and on again" approach is not relevant here as I do the power cycle reset regularly. This is happening on multiple xboxs as I know a least four people having the same issue

You know what's funny or not? I did the you tube fix but I will most likely purchase the adapter. I feel as if the you tube fix does not give good volume controls. I wonder how the adapter will look and how the Xbox One logo will look on it.

Look this up on you tube "how to clear the cache on an xbox 360" then try it and see if that fixes it.
