You tube app won't pick up Xbox to cast

There both on the same wifi both uninstalled and reinstalled and a soft reset in the xbox but its still not picking it up

Its already linked it won't pick up the xbox to cast on from the phone

Xbox has it's own YouTube app. ? So you dont have to cast from phone to xbox ? If that's what your trying to do . 👍

All you do with the app and phone is link it via code when you first go on it .the code should show up on your phone .

Have you linked them using the youtube website?

Hi tonyp1454! As mentionned above, the app is now available on the store (for xbox one only) and should be updated very soon.

I just joined, and noticed the missing features on Xbox...Will my android app be able to cast to the Xbox app, like You Tube and Netflix do in the near future

Hi not sure if you got the other response as it was in a feedback box. I have smartglass on my phone and it picks up the Xbox. It is the streaming or casting it doesn't. I tried to locate xbox apps in preferences but there isn't that option only notifications_capture
and share_feedback and three more.
