    You should be able to use the remote feature from the xbox app without having to connect


    Whenever I go to use my phone to type on the xbox UI I have to always connect, It didn't use to be this way but now its slow with connecting and not fluid.

    you should be able to use your smartglass app.

    It actually connects directly to your xbox one, meaning its faster than the orginal app!

    Casting to xbox

    I used to be able to find my xbox one through samsung music and cast my playlist to groove music via wifi, I can't find my xbox one anymore but it finds it through the xbox app and can use the remote feature perfectly has the feature to cast been removed?

    In fact, it used to mirror what was displayed on the tv screen to your phone app.So if it's in a area to type it would pull it up on the phone.Now it's just the activity feed.What happened to the smart glass stuff

    Xbox remote play with touch controls like cloud gaming

    It should be because we know that Xbox consoles have a way to stream the games from the same servers as the mobile apps which support touch screen controls. The Xbox remote play could switch the control inputs by sending a message to the server through the Xbox console when you connect with the Xbox app on your mobile device or the game pass app for PC at least. This would allow touch screens to be another avenue for developers to make more accessibility features for their games. Also, the TV stick is around the corner. What would be a great idea for the TV stick is to have the remote play to work with the stick to allow you to play touch screen games without a controller and have less lag when playing. Since the consoles are not able to get touch screen support for a device can you guys add the support to the remote play feature of the Xbox app for mobile devices and PCs?

    Hello Abias! Thanks for your reply. Have you tried installing the game remotely? You can click the game title from your order history to install it via Xbox store or you can use Xbox app. Just make sure that remote features are already enabled. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features. Check the box to enable remote features and for Power options, select Sleep mode.

    If you suspect someone has access to your account, you should immediately change your passwords and check your security settings in your Microsoft account and any other account you feel may be affected.

    Secondly, you can disable remote play features on your Xbox by going to Settings>Devices & connections>Remote features. From there, you can toggle remote features or disable streaming features under the "Xbox app preferences" under the same tab.
