You make it really hard to like xbox one!

Only time I have I don't think its been related to instant on, as its mainly been controller issues. Or a total console freeze or the Black Screen. Could be related I suppose but I don't think so.

Controller Vibration

hello dear xbox one surpport please make an controler or xbox 1 update where we have a softly vibration it´s annoying it´s rumble hard from every little situation in game please make my day and do an vibration put off setting like on your lovley xbox 360
i dont wanna lose so many batteries plz do it for the gamers that dont like so hard rumble and so loud vibration i really want it slow like its massagin your hands or put it off if you dont make this setting i will buy me an Gaystation 4 -.- dont force it

Has my Xbox been dropped or something?

So yeah I got hold of a white Xbox One the other day, its great. Only problem is its making some strange noises, the fan sounds like something is stuck in it and the hard drive can be heard quite audibly whenever in use, its not the sound a new console
should make, it sounds like a really really old hard drive on its last legs, and the fan itself is just annoying.

Not really sure what to do because as soon as I turn my soundbar on and get into a game I don't really hear the problem, but the fact both the fan and hard drive don't sound healthy right out the box does make me worry. Should I return the console and get
another one? Is a pretty noisey fan and whirring hard drive pretty standard on the Xbox One?

 

With the hard resets, I barely did any last year, since xmas though it is becoming more of a frequent must. Tbh though, I don't have to do it to the point it really bothers me, having to do it for party to work can be irritating at times.

 

I have never had instant on set .

No themes or wallpapers .

Bf4 and Cod ghosts have both crashed lots of times..... on my Ps4 , after I installed a free theme , but didnt after I removed it.

I can play a round of Cod Aw, x box , record that ,then go to upload studio...in about 3 secs .

Trim it and title it , then it compresses it , feels about 10 secs .

Upload for 28 second clip is about 30 sec, then instantly back to cod .

That would take LostKaus around 10 mins ,if it didn't crash.

IF there was something wrong with the design of the hardware / software / ui / live ...

How come mine , and other peoples Xb1 .....work fine ?.

This thread could go on forever , with the same handful of people going round in circles...lol

MS had from May 2013 to November 2013 to scramble at the drawing board to quiet the outrage that happened during the reveal. I can't even imagine what kind of pressure cooker that division of Microsoft was in during that time. It's obvious that the final
product was going to be a bit screwy. A constant hustle has been ongoing to try to patch this and fix this. Will it ever be right? It seems to be a roll of the dice if you get a good egg or a bad egg.

 

Have to say I've never had to hard reset my console, but have had a small number of apps/games crashed and a press of the home button, then "quit" then restart app/game solved it.

Voice control - i know it's not the original point of thios thread, but yes this is weird. If people are honestly using this for Netflix I don't understand as I cannot browse or select vids at all. I can use it no problem with TED, Skype, Media Player, but
Neflix has no "green" voice options other than play/pause.

@Genchy - no problem, same goes for me. These forum threads can often escalate quickly! At the end of day I came here to try and get some honest answers from other people as I couldn't really believe what I was experiencing with XBone was normal. I have
got used to it now, and it's no so bad. The games are fantastic, but that home UI is just so clunky. Can't wait for the W10 update!!

 

are you using the "Xbox select" command? that is what i use to navigate Netflix and get "next list", "show more", "select 1/2/3/4/5" for videos currently on the screen, for the apps i use it's pretty much the same, Crunchyroll, HBOGO, Hulu, the Plex app
is pretty cool because you can actual use the title name to select videos instead of the generic "select 1/2/3/4/5", wish i could get BBC.

 

I played Ghosts on the One last week...crashed in the same places the 360 crashed. Dodgy programming if you ask me.

ExploitedZebra a lot of the Netflix commands such as "show list" etc won't highlight in green, but do work if you use them. If that functionality isn't haapening for you its deffo strange.

 

You all make me wonder since my X1 is fine.

I will now leave it in instant on jus to prove a point that it works.

 

XO does seem to have a slightly higher crash rate than my 360 did.

Most notably on Sunset OD and now NBA Live. I also have been getting randomly kicked from parties recently. However on a plus note the friends app seems to be working as it should now

For the guy who said he can record a clip and swap apps in 3 seconds, please post a video.

 

I absolutely love my Xbox One. I have a few minor issues. But that comes with each new generation. It will get ironed out in time
