There are a bunch of reason Sony is in the hole, part of it was do to the poor performance of the PS3. They were too big headed & stubborn to listen to feedback & thought everyone would go for the $600 console. It took them 3-4 years before the PS3 hit its
true potential and became a contender.

MS pretty much did the same mistake Sony did except they were bright enough to start changes quicker.

Sony & Nintendo both have had problems listening to what consumers want over the past few decades.

You can add also the Yen devaluation around 2008....Which didn't really help.

So a price cut isn't out of the question if it gets more consoles into houses.

There's 'some' gamers out there that you will never please, or they just like to argue for the sake of it. I'm not sure why they even bother, for me gaming is meant to be about fun and looking at some and how angry they seem in posts, well it doesn't seem
gaming suits them.

I got mine too and will keep it until the end of his lifecycle....But also,i can be disagree with some Microsoft moves,especially lately.It won't change anything,i know,Microsoft seems to listen the ones who doesn't own it and i don't have several million
friends who might buy an Xbox...I hope,they will find back their own path and vision.....

But reducing the price to 299 makes Sony lose even more money, which means even if sales do skyrocket you have hurt yourself just to have more customers. Doesnt make much sense to me. Reducing the price now means in a couple of years if PS is still owned
by Sony, they would be selling consoles at $50 a pop, which would be insane.
