Have you tried to reset your console?

Please, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Please try the steps below - some of these you may have already done (IE: The first section), but these steps resolve most issues like this. If you continue to get this issue, please post back with the exact error code you get. Thanks!

Manage your Microsoft Account Security Settings

This issue can occur if your security settings are not up to date. To check this:

1. Head over to HERE and sign in to your Microsoft Account
   
2. Once signed in, head over to the "Security Info" tab
3. In here, ensure you have at least:
   
   - A valid email account
   
   - A valid secondary/alternative email account
   
   - A valid phone number
   
   - A valid security question

Also check if you have Two Factor Authentication enabled or not. If you do, you will need to use an "App Password" to sign in to your Xbox account - not your normal password! For more information on TFA (Two Factor Authentication) head over HERE

Delete Your Xbox Profile

Once you have checked your security settings are correct, head over to your Xbox Console. We will firstly delete your profile by doing the following:

• Go to Settings, and then select System.
• Select Storage.
• Select All Devices.
• Select Gamer Profiles.
• Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
• Select Delete.
• Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
  

Clear Your System Cache
Almost done! Next up, we'll clear the system cache:

• Go to Settings, and then select System.
• Select Storage.
• Highlight any memory device, then press "Y" on your controller.
• Select "Clear System Cache.
• Repeat this 3 times to ensure the cache is 100% cleared

Redownload your Profile
Finally, we'll redownload your profile!

• Turn off your console, then turn it back on again
• Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the centre of your controller).
  
• Select Download Profile.
• Enter your Microsoft Account Details, then download the profile.
  

Hopefully once redownloaded, you'll be good to go!
