    Hi. Xbox live expired today, so my dad bought a digital code digitally from a store and forwarded the email to me. However, when trying to redeem the code I get a message.

    "You have an existing Xbox subscription that's blocking this code redemption."

    I tried doing what it said, going to setting and the website, but all it says is renew which involves rebuking the Xbox live. I can't even cancel my subscription because it already ended.

    Existing subscription blocking code redemption..!!

    I tried to redeem code for "gears of War 3" in Xbox one but couldn't. The following message appear:

    "An existing Xbox subscription is blocking code redemption"

    What's the meaning of the message? How to solve this problem?

    for last of week i am trying to enter just cause 2 . But i keep getting this error .. You have an existing Xbox subscription that's blocking this code redemption. On your Xbox, go to Settings. Or go to account.microsoft.com/services to fix the problem.

    I can't confirm game pass code because screen is blocked by "choose payment method box" i can't navigate up, bown left,right to select a "confirm" button.

    Sorry to hear that you are having trouble being able to navigate to the Code Redemption page. It appears that you are on the 1-month subscription page as though you are going to buy a subscription, however, not to redeem a 1-month code you already have.

    To redeem a code you already have try this: Press the Guide button on your controller. Select Games & Apps, and then select Redeem Code. Enter the 25-character code, and then follow the prompts to complete your redemption.

    The benefit extended to the general public is the same that was offered during the Insider preview, in that existing Gold and Game Pass subscriptions were converted 1:1 when upgrading to Game Pass Ultimate. Redemptions of prepaid Gold and Game Pass standard
    codes after the account already has ultimate is also the same, with a reduced ration shown in the FAQ.

    Not necessarily, may it be trial code or regular Gold subscription redemption code, it's not console specific since these codes are universal code. So you can redeem it on Xbox One or Xbox 360 console.
