You guys planning on posting anything about Lizard Squad taking down Xbox Live?

Agreed, but in order to do that the Xbox servers must be set up to except coding from Java or any other program. Hence only Xbox 360's can connect to Xbox 360 servers! Derrrr!

Xbox servers will only except code from xbox's UNLESS you have a PC with the Xbox server has code!

Cause in order for a DDoS to work there has to be a ton of xbox's trying to connect all at once???

This may be a false flag style attack to try and get everyone to run out and buy the new Xbox one.

What I'm not understanding is these Xbox 360 servers are built to withstand this kind of attack because they are by default programmed to handle millions on connections per second, so how is it that a small group of "hackers" can overwhelm their servers
with a multitude of connections that the severs are designed to accommodate in the first place?!?!? Seems pretty fishy to me! JUST SAYING!

I agree with the OP. It would be nice if MSFT would simply admit the network is under attack instead of acting like nothing is going on. Seriously, how hard would that be? I for one would respect that.
