You cant play multiplayer due to the way your Microsoft account is set up

Im trying to join my friends world on the switch but i kept getting that error. I have changed the settings to allow cross platform, multiplayer, and i have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. However, it still gives me the same error. Im not sure if its something I'm missing.

Hello Bald,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. We understand getting an error when you try and play Minecraft. Are you trying to play multiplayer, and have an active Xbox live subscription? Have you changed the setting in Windows to join multiplayer games
if not here are the steps.

Go to the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab.
Set Join multiplayer games to Allow.
You can also change other settings before clicking the Save button.
Play the game again.

Make sure your PC is completely up to date along with the game.

Please sign in to account.xbox.com/settings and ensure none of the multiplayer permissions are blocked.
