    "You can't buy this on Xbox.com"


    So my friend keeps trying to buy Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on his Xbox One from the store, and everytime he goes to purchase it, a popup appears and says that he 'Can't buy on Xbox.com' and to 'Buy from your Xbox'.

    We can't make any sence of it since he's doing it ON HIS XBOX.

    His account's balance isn't going down, but if anyone has any clue what this may be please tell me!

    The window says the following: "Sorry, your account is not able to make this purchace on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction on your Xbox."

    When i'm trying to buy AC on my Xbox One it says "can't buy this on Xbox.com, complete this transaction on your Xbox"

    why cant you buy backwards compatibility games straight from your from your xbox one

    Can't you use the browser on the One to buy the games from xbox.com?

    No there's no option for me to buy it at all. It says on the right where it normally says buy 'Buy on Xbox.com or Xbox 360. You can't buy this on Xbox One.'

    But then when I go to Xbox.com there's no option to buy either.

    Do you mean that you can't buy with those 126$? If that's what you mean, then are you buying from Xbox.com, or your console? If on Xbox.com, then you need a CC or Paypal to pay. Buy from your console if you want to use your Microsoft account balance.
