    I did try You can’t acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region ... :( the other 2 games codes worked flawlessly..2 more just don't... gears of war 2 and judgment ok.. gears 1 and 3 not ok ...

    xbox redeem live code error "You can’t acquire this item in your currently selected language."

    I'm trying to redeem a prepaid code on my xbox one s for a xbox live 12 months and I'm getting the following error:

    *note: all my regions/language is set to the same country (Netherlands)

    Any ideas?

    Wrong Language/region

    Changing language/region to English USA did not help. The message was the same: "you can't acquire this item in your currently selected language".

    That happens whenever I try to do it on the web site. And when I try to do it through the console system it says : You can´t acquire this item in your currently selected language. Change your language region

    thank you for your advice. I did try on my xbox one, xbox app and weblink xbox.com as well. for xbox and xbox .com, i got error message as above. for xbox app I got another error message as below.

    Language selected in settings: English US

    Location United States

    Is this game in Russian? German? What language I have to change to? Also, why 3 out of 4 codes worked just fine and this is picky?
