You can't acquire this item in the language you have currently selected

I have a code for the original Red Dead Redemption and I can get the following error when trying to redeem on an xbox one x.

"Change your language region in settings. You can't acquire this item in the language you have currently selected."

My location is Canada and language is English-CA. Anyone have any idea how to fix?

That would explain it. Seems you have to be patient or reach at chat support to check this out.

Try migrating your account region again http://live.xbox.com/accountmigration Sometimes accounts don't migrate properly on the 360 side of things so it would see you as
still being in Ireland and would send up a region error.

What do you mean by "interesting plan for something like that?" Is that in reference to the info posted?

That's probably the reason I can't change it again, I only recently changed to Canada in the first place.

I get this error when I try the migration again:

"There’s a problem completing your move right now. Please check the Region Change Support Page to make sure it will work for you, and try again later."

Not sure if this is because it's already migrated to Canada or something else is up? Should I revert to Ireland and then Canada again after?
