    You cannot play online multiplayer!!!


    My daughter has ipad version of Minecraft and is playing multiplayer. I've just purchased the Andriod app version but I'm stuck with ' you cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft
    account is set up, review and change your settings at aka.ms/accountsettings';

    I've been trying for 5 hours in total. Microsoft online chat won't help and xbox dont have a live chat for this.

    I'm using 2 email accounts as you have to buy the game twice. Such a rip off

    Absolutely lost all patience

    Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    I understand you need assistance with your Privacy Settings. Kindly sign in to your account at https://account.xbox.com/en-us/social?rtc=2 > click on your profile icon at the upper right corner of the page > click on the ellipses button (...) > then click on Xbox Settings.

    Once you're on the Xbox Settings, click on "Privacy & Online Safety". Once you're on the Privacy & Online Safety page, you should be able to see your account.

    Please click on it to change your Privacy Settings. Make sure that all settings under the Privacy tab and Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety are set to "Allow" or "Everyone". It should be like this:

    i just bought a new xbox series x today for the sole purpose that i heard the old cod games servers where back working but i had to make a new account and it won’t let me play mw2 online

    To play online multiplayer you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you don't have that, then you cannot play online.

    I'm not sure why you chose that particular font (luckily, it was easy to cut and paste into Word to get it to a legible font), but, yes, the reason that you cannot play online multiplayer is because you are playing with a free/Silver account. You must have
    a gold subscription to play online multiplayer.

    Will gold subscription discounted games work after expiration?

    I have done this in the past. You can play them, but cannot join in online multiplayer modes until you have gold again.
