    Are you banned of suspended on xbox live? Check enforcement.xbox.com.

    Also, are you currently subscribed to Xbox Live Gold?

    • Is there an error message that appears when trying to connect to Minecraft? What is the process you take when trying to connect?
    • What type of device are you using to play Minecraft: Xbox One (original, S or X), Xbox 360, Windows 10?
    • Is your subscription to Xbox Live Gold currently active?
    • What troubleshooting have you tried so far?

    In general, when having an issue in getting connected to a multiplayer game, if you're getting an error message on an Xbox One, I would recommend our

    Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    I understand you need assistance with your Privacy Settings. Kindly sign in to your account at https://account.xbox.com/en-us/social?rtc=2 > click on your profile icon at the upper right corner of the page > click on the ellipses button (...) > then click on Xbox Settings.

    Once you're on the Xbox Settings, click on "Privacy & Online Safety". Once you're on the Privacy & Online Safety page, you should be able to see your account.

    Please click on it to change your Privacy Settings. Make sure that all settings under the Privacy tab and Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety are set to "Allow" or "Everyone". It should be like this:

    You cannot use multiplayer feature while being a free member. You must have a Gold membership to play a multiplayer game

    i just bought a new xbox series x today for the sole purpose that i heard the old cod games servers where back working but i had to make a new account and it won’t let me play mw2 online

    To play online multiplayer you need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. If you don't have that, then you cannot play online.
