you ahould get a charger for your controller when you buy it

Even though the Xbox comes with batteries you still should get a charger instead of having to go the store and buy a charger made from NYKO

:)

 

Controller problems

You know what...To save yourself tons of money buying a million AA batteries, just buy a play and charge kit at a game store / retail store.

It's normally 19.99, it comes with a rechargeable battery pack and a play and charge cable.

When you first get it, put the pack in your controller, plug the cable to your controller and xbox USB port. keep playing until the red light on the play and charge cable turns green. That means your battery is at 100% charge.

When you battery dies, no need to stop playing, just plug the cable to your controller and xbox and play till it's green again.

You can also buy extra battery packs individually or in double packs too.

 

Rechargeable Battery kit

If you buy an xbox one controller from game stop there is a bundle for and extra 15 dollars you get the controller plus the play and charge kit for 75 bucks. The controller itself is 60 bucks,

 

Consider getting the rechargeable AA Duracell batteries (at least 2500mAh). I use those and they last a crazy long time. Buy at least 4 batteries with a charger so you can rotate batteries and never have to be interrupted.

You can also get a smartphone AC charger and a micro-USB cable (you can find both at the dollar store) and plug your controller into that for power as well.
