Yok chatpad not synching

What do you mean by the chat pad won't sync? Make sure the chatpad is firmly connected since it is a physical connection and if the pad is not working then it could be possible that the controller's connection ports are not working properly.

Give this troubleshooting step a try. While the Xbox is on, go ahead and do a hard
reset and power cycle to the console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down. Once the Xbox is off, remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and
wait 60 seconds before turning on the Xbox. Holding down the power button on the console to force a hard reset and then removing the power cable are both important steps. Try another controller if the chatpad continues to not work.

Ok so I found the issue and I'm not the only one who had this issue so ill post it here for any future reference because it was a pain to find any thing about this searching the net.

when you install the chatpad clicking it in will not always click all of the connecters in so you may have to press really REALLY hard (felt like mine was going to snap) you will hear a second pop that was louder then the original pop and then it should
work, don't know if they changed the size or shape for the black chat pads but I never had a problem like this with the older ones.
