If you purchased both versions separately with the same account before June 6, 2022, you should have received an in-game item called "The Vanilla Cape", it is not possible to opt for another copy of the game.

So the issue is not to create the account now, is that you wanna get the Minecraft Java edition on your account

Only the account that made the purchase of the bedrock edition can get the java edition for free

I ask this because when you redeem something in your account, even if it's free. It's listed in your order history. And if you redeemed a Java code on your account, you can only access to the Java edition.

No. The java and bedrock edition are completely separate from eachother so if you want the java edition you will have to purchase it
