    Yet another XB1 headset thread


    I was just curious if there have been any known issues with controller updates or dashboard updates that have made the mic that came with the xbox stop working. I was wondering because me and a friend of mine both had the same issue start last night people
    were saying our mics were making a "buzz" noise and when both of us unplugged our mics and plugged them back in the mic just stopped working. (we were in dif parties when this happened). Thing is it seems it will work for a few secs after I plug it in before
    cutting off.

    I can hear all my buddies in the headset just fine they just cant hear me. Ive tried power cycling the xbox, the sign in thing, a new controller and pretty much everything else I can think of. So I'm trying to have to avoid a 1- 1/2 hr trip for a new headset
    (local WM and online are out of stock) and avoid a 2 month waiting period for M$ to send me a replacement.
