Yet ANOTHER untested m$ special update

Alright, first off, let me start by eluding to the sheer and utter disgust I have for the Obviously Idiotic m$ programmers, qc, and idea factory that is m$. I'm not even going to get into the last 20 years of m$'s track record with updates breaking and even
bricking devices. No, instead I will simply state the issue, read the ensuing hate responses that have nothing to do with the issue, which will you tell you a lot about age, intelligence and wisdom.

Oh, but first, here's a little history. XBox One. The "all in-one media player". Not really though huh? Background music support on launch......NO. Background music support now.....after many hours of searching for an AppLication, downloading it, reprogramming
the Box, stating why I don't Pay for music service, resetting the Box, wondering **** is going on at m$ XBox division and then giving up. So...I decide, ok, my PS3 which has none of these issues, will even let me download movies from Vudu so I don't have to
worry about buffering issues, works perfectly, all the the time and without a windows 8 bs gui, will be removed from my setup as I could do with one less thing to have power and space for.

Fast forward to last night after installing the latest B.S. update on my XBox One S. Watching a movie on Vudu...and I get a notification that states so n so is online. ****, WHAT! Go to the settings screen to see how in the magic of our vast universe the
option for DISABLING notifications could have gotten turned off..............well.........waddaya think I found? THERE IS NO OPTION ANYMORE. So I guess my suspension of disbelief is unworthy when it comes to the collective ideology of incessant updates that
has become our culture. Well, my bad. My PS3 is coming back for my movie and video watching and I guess I'm going to have to go BUY another 4K HDR capable DVD player as, my XBox One S isn't up to the task of providing me with an uninterrupted movie watching
experience.

THANK YOU m$ for such a joyous experience that has become gaming in the 21st EFFING Century!

It is 10am 27th of October - where is the promised driver and the promised Xbox Accessories App?

Has there been any update to this? If the software was not ready yet, why release the product in an unfinished and untested state?

Sorry, there is an option still to Hide notifications during video playback....it's just being over ridden by the latest update. Even After resetting the console, redownloading profiles, resetting the notification setting options. And retrying playing movies
from a variety of sources. Still to no avail. The only thing that works is to Uncheck the Show Notifications Box....which is NOT how this should work. Quit pushing untested updates...better yet, quit updating just to keep someone in a job. A once a year update
I can live with. You should take that long to test it. Otherwise, knock it off already! It's beyond stupid. It's unnecessary, pointless, time consuming, anda DATA hog. Unless you, m$, are offering to pay for my Internet usage, then by all means, update away
and that bandwidth.
