    Yet another feedback complaint...


    First of all, look at my reputation. It's in the orange. But, before judging, hear me out.

    I haven't been banned (yet), like I said in my last complaint. But, this is a serious concern now. I'd like someone to look into my recent activity. You'll see that I have barely hopped on this console. But, for some reason, I have gone from Green, to yellow,
    to orange in a matter of days.

    Now the thing that bothers me is that I have been playing Uno, solitaire, the crew, all games that I don't even like, but want to play to boost up my feedback rating. Now, it went to green, and I hopped on for a day or two on GOW and now it's in orange.
    If you view my time played (if there is a way to see that), I was on for 2 days after maybe a week and a half off and now my feedback is already in the orange. Someone told me that you guys monitor each complaint, yet I was pushed back into the negative within
    a couple days. This just doesn't seem fair.

    I'm not curious to know what I was doing wrong, because I know I don't talk (or do any of the other restrictions) enough to go from Green to Orange that quick.

    Just want to know why it's happening so frequently.

    Complaint - Reputation/Feedback

    Good Evening,

    I have recently been maliciously reported and targeted by internet trolls whilst playing Call of Duty 4 Remastered which has now resulted in my gaming experience being affected. I now bear the AVOID ME status which means that due to my "low level reputation"
    I am not able to join any online games barring other people who are also in my boat.

    Before I get to my complaint its interesting to read on the Xbox Live website that in order to improve your reputation you need to play other random online games with players without receiving any further reports. I would love to
    meet the guy who thought of this idea as quite clearly it is flawed. With a reputation of avoid me you cant play with other players thus making this advice completely unhelpful and useless.

    Secondly, after being a customer for over nine years now, I expect good quality customer service with helpful information and a sympathetic attitude towards my issue. YET i encounter the complete opposite. The level of customer service I received is quite
    frankly abysmal, I am told that there is no contact number OR email for anyone in the enforcement/reputation department & that appeals can only be made for bans that in excess of 24 hours. What about lesser issues, who do I speak to? Can someone please explain
    to me how this is acceptable? I cant understand why a multi billion pound company has no form of complaints procedure.

    If I have been accused of something or someone has reported me for "x" behavior I deserve to know how/why and the evidence provided to me AND a thorough investigation being conducted to find out the true cause. Just as you would if you were going to court.

    So with that being said I would like someone to explain to me how you think it is acceptable to ban or penalize a PAYING customers account without providing (A) Any form of dispute procedure or a department to deal with queries. (B) Any Evidence to justify
    the Ban/Penalization (C) No offer of investigation.

    Lastly, before someone gives me a copy and pasted response of " We cant assist you on these forums for any enforcement issues" I would just like to make you aware that i was TOLD to come here and write on the forums
    via the online chat. If at any point you do not believe me, please bring up the chat of my online discussion with "Hazel" (AS i know all chats are logged) so you will see for yourself.


    NOW TO MY ACTUAL ISSUE:

    Before I go on, I would just like to make it clear that I am not no angel on Xbox Live and would never claim to be. I have and always will trash talk on the occasional basis irrespective of the terms and condition set out by Microsoft. Whether Microsoft
    like it or not, trash talking and cussing is a part of online gaming (I am not condoning it) but quite frankly it is. We ALL do it from time to time, anyone who says they dont is a liar. If i was to truly report all behavior deemed "offensive" by Microsoft
    terms and conditions then I would be reporting people EVERY single game. I don't have the time to sit their reporting me all day long just because I am offended, if you don't like it don't play or mute them, simple.

    ANYWAY...

    On Thursday whilst playing Call of Duty with my friend we was targeted by a group of players (all in the same clan) who were consistently trolling & team killing me. Obviously like any person would, they would retaliate by the same means and also team kill
    them back. We were then invited to the party and immediately overwhelmed with abuse. Obviously I left the party as I did not want to listen to it. (FYI I didn't report them, and obviously they invited me to the party because they wanted a reaction).

    I then go to log on the next day to discover that my account now has a status of avoid me and that I can only match with other players who have the same reputation status as me. I go onto the enforcement web page and see that my account has been reported
    several times for unsporting behavior and also CHEATING!?

    LIKE CHEATING?! REALLY!?!! Of all things i get reported for cheating! I wouldn't even know how to cheat if i tried! I might have said the odd curse word or team killed but these were all retaliatory ! Like I have mentioned above, an investigation into these
    invents will clearly show I was NOT the instigator. Quite clearly this guy and all his buddies decided they would all report me so my account would be penalized and guess what it worked.

    I hope that someone from Microsoft will read this and take action especially after being a customer for around nine years now. I have never had any issues in the past with my account as my account history will quite clearly show this.

    Could someone please kindly give me a contact number or email address so that someone can deal with this issue?

    I'm agreeing with other people here and just don't understand why people put themselves in a position to get in trouble. Why use profanity, or send people insulting messages, etc? I've never gotten a single enforcement but I've never used bad language,
    sent anyone insults, or anything like that at all. If I've gotten rude messages, which I have, I just ignore it to be honest. I don't spend time reading it, or taking it personal. If, at first glance, it seems like a rude sort of comment, I don't even finish
    reading it. I just delete it and it's forgotten about. If the person sends another, and persists with it, I simply block them. They'll never get a response out of me; I don't respond to negativity or drama. I'm on Xbox for fun, and to enjoy gaming. That's

    Honestly to this day I can't understand why people get banned. I have been on Xbox Live for 11+ years and to this day not a single enforcement action. If some one gets salty and they reach out to you then just Block and Report. Same thing if you get upset,
    just block and report, don't give anyone the option to report you. Just Rise above the toxic behavior and take the high road. Trust me it has worked for me.

    I somehow understands some of them.

    I remember a mother´s complaint (or a father, it din´t detailed) about him getting banned because he told his son via xbox live mssger to check his brother son. The Ms (or Sr) use a hard word for telling to do such, and it gets a Ban.

    So, in resume: It was her/his son. And, it was referring to the child cellphone, it´s a pretty unfortunate ban. I have to admit, that I´m now afraid to use the xbox mssges or the voice chat.

    maybe having a brief multiple choice test on the CoC/ToU on the renewal page so people have to show they know the rules before going online would do the trick

    only 2 or 3 questions needed with questions such as "will you be banned or suspended if you only retaliate?"
