My Son's Xbox One is not connecting to the same Mac address that it has been playing on since I got it. Now it's not working at all. What to do next.

Additional authentication needed as if alternate mac

hey every time I go to connect my Xbox one to Xbox live it won't connect and says additional authentication needed enter alternate MAC address as I enter it it still won't connect I need help

Nighthawk x4 AC3200 (C7500) Connection problem

I can't seem to connect my xbox one x to my new router, model C7500. My xbox is saying that its possible that my router is blocking my xbox's MAC address, but i have my setting set to allow any MAC address. I also cant add my xbox MAC address to my wifi
settings.

A Mac address cannot be changed, as its assigned at the hardware level.

Are you sure the Mac address has changed on the system you are trying to connect to ?

so i have this problem where i can not get to my MAC address because its a new xbox and wants to update but the update requires internet. but at the same time for me to connect to my internet i need to know my MAC address

What you will need to do is get a device connected such as a laptop, tablet, or phone. Once that is connected, go into the settings for that device and find its Wireless MAC Address. Once you have found the Wireless MAC Address, on the Xbox One go to Settings
> Network. Go to Advanced Settings and select Alternate MAC Address. Enter the Wireless MAC Address of your device in here. After entering this, the network will now see the Xbox One with the MAC Address of your connected device and it will be able to access
the internet.

OK now I've done everything that I can in the trouble shooting page, I've tried resetting my modem, router, mac filtering, changing my router to a 20 Mhz channel width, 802.11G network mode, and prioritizing my xbox one(my mac address that is supposed to
be my xbox one) and xbox live.

I don't know if there is anything else left to try.

In my router interface it shows my xbox one as a network device, when it trys to connect it says its online, but after it fails it goes back to offline... and I know its my xbox one because It's the same mac address as my xbox one.

The only other thing I can think of is my xbox one isn't getting a strong enough signal... its at 2 to 3 bars isn't that good enough to at least connect?

Please somebody help me I've been trying things all day long and nothing has worked out I just want to get back to playing destiny or at least minecraft.
