"Yes or No" voice command not working after latest patch.

Same issue here. Everything worked beautifully until the update and now....... So sick and tired of this crap happening over and over. We all paid good money for a product and that product is flawed. You wouldn't expect to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars
for a Lamborghini to find out they used a vw engine in it until the new "update" to fix it. MS fix your product and please the masses.

 

same issue here. Why can't they manage to roll out updated without breaking existing functionality - that's just basic software testing. There are enough things wrong with this damn console that it is losing hdmi one status in my household - well done

Everyone is having this problem. By now i'm sure Microsoft know's about the issue and are working to solve it.

 

Same here but everything that got to do with saying close too like in notifications.

 

Having the same problem. Honestly, it's really not acceptable for this to happen. You release an "update" and break one of the most important functions? Not really sure what to say. If SOMEHOW this happened with an updated, it should be fixed IMMEDIATELY...
you have a multi-billion dollar corporation, it's not OK to take weeks to fix something like this.

I was having the same issue until I tried kjwinkel's suggestion and it fixed it.

 

yeah same thing here, just didn't want to know if I was the only one thinking that YES, & NO didn't work. please fix this, PlayStation 4 is sounding like a better investment everyday like these bugs are happening. can't even play my family's videos because
xbox one does support it anymore. take my old xbox 360 anyday would of saved $600 but now I'm stuck with an LEMON OF A GAME SYSTEM...

 

glad this thread exists and I am not the only one. I do the 'soft reboot' and it works until the 2nd or 3rd time I turn it off with voice commands... then stops working when asked for 'yes/no'.

I am really feeling like a sucker for buying the XB1. PS4 is more powerful and cheaper. I also realize that having the XB1 hook up to my cable box does nothing except cause frustration at times when it decides it doesn't like the signal its getting from
my comcast box. (then I'm stuck playing the guessing game on which component I have to power off/on - the xb1, cable box, or receiver).

I used 'snap' for about 30 seconds until I realized I can still barely see the TV feed on my 70 inch screen... yet I am stuck with 2 audio feeds overlapping each other.

 

Having the same problem as everyone else here. Microsoft please listen to the community and fix this asap.

 

Same issues... XBOX On, rarely works even worse than how rarely it worked before.

XBOX Off works, but Yes/No do not work.

Some screens/apps I have to raise my voice uncomfortably loud for it to register, while other (including Record That thankfully) seem to work fine.

 

Try holding the power button for 10 seconds my mate told me it helped him.

 

Same issue with using the voice commands. It doesn't recognize "yes" after I go to the shut down option. It recognizes everything else up to that point very well.

 

Voice commands worked fine until the update, then it stopped responding to yes commands. It then progressed to not responding to voice commands at all. I had to unplug the power to fix a netflix issue, but the voice problems returned. Also tried recalibrating
(twice) but this had no effect. Will try the soft reset I see mentioned but not encouraged since I have seen it return.
