    Yellow power brick


    Plz help me my Xbox one has had a yellow light on the power supply and now when I turn it on in about 3-4 seconds it turns off, even when the only cable I have in are the Xbox power supply one and I have changed where I plug the power supply cord into.

    Power issue

    The power brick made a loud popping noise and then shut off. The power brick is yellow when it is plugged into the wall but if I plug it into the xbox there is no light on the power brick at all

    Hmm, sounds like the power supply isn't the problem. If it was, the brick would be flashing orange when you attempt to power it on. Might be something going on with the console itself.

    Tell you what, have you tried a proper
    power cycle     yet? That might help. Give it a try!

    Hmm, sounds like the power supply isn't the problem. If it was, the brick would be flashing orange when you attempt to power it on. Might be something going on with the console itself.

    Tell you what, have you tried a proper

    Yellow light on the power brick tends to mean a bad power brick.

    You can try unplugging it completely for at least 30 seconds to reset it and plugging it back in. If it stays yellow its a bad power brick.

    Do you either have another brick from an Xbox One or a friend willing to loan you one to make sure its just the brick?
