    I have been an Xbox live member for over 7 years(I have friends that show I have had them for 7 years). Yet on my profile it only says 5. I am quite positive that I have not had a lapse in membership, nor have I had a name change. Lastly in my Xbox live
    rewards screen, it only says I have been a member since 12/30/2010. Why is this incorrect? Is there anything that can be done to fix it?

    Thanks Jennos I'll try your idea. I have always been gold for the whole 8 years. So, I know thats not the problem. I guess it happened after the dashboard update.

    The suggestions say to make sure all profiles are deleted off of other consoles and then redownload the profile that is on your main console to see if that helps. With me however, the suggestions didn't quite work right away. My tenure went from 6 to 0 years,
    over the period of 4 days I just took some time out and redownloaded my profile once each day. After a few days it was back to normal. Not much, I know but I hope it helps.

    Only the time you are a PAID GOLD MEMBER counts. If the membership lapse for a few months, it's not counted.

    You may want to post in the "Support" section of the forum so a support member can check your account.

    Maybe a mod could move this thread?..

    I think every Xbox Live Rewards member that had Live and has continued to subscribe shows the same date. It is when the program was started and doesn't have anything to do with Live tenure.

    I wouldn't really worry about it OP. The tenure really doesn't matter all too much, and if people can see 7 years on your account, then I wouldn't worry what you see, since it seems to be showing the correct tenure to other gamers.

    BongKaos if you read the OP he also asked " Lastly in my Xbox live rewards screen, it only says I have been a member since 12/30/2010. " This only refers to the age of the Xbox Live Rewards account and not Live tenure, so my answer IS correct. My Xbox Live
    Rewards date is 12/14/2010. My Xbox Live Gold tenure is 11 years back to 07/2003. 2 totally different things and people who joined when Live Rewards was created will have similar dates.

    Your live rewards tenure and xbox live tenure are different animals..... My apology?

    The date you join rewards is indeed how long you have been a rewards member.

    Now for live, only gold periods show as part of being a live member.

    I thought the OP already moved on anyway good sir.

    Hello my account Mystic Feedzz has been a gold member for over a year now and the tenure hasent changed yet. The Xbox live gold was added 1/26/14 and today is 1/30/15

    I'm the same. I'm on my 2nd year of gold, almost to my third. Still says I'm a one year guy. It said I was a member for one year before I started my second one too...

    You all know exactly how long you have been an XBL Gold subscriber, so does it really matter if the number shown on your profile is incorrect?

    It`s not like you choose friends by how long they have been a Gold subscriber.
